The Division of Pediatric Neurology with the Emory+Children’s Pediatric Institute (Emory University School of Medicine + Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta) is expanding to meet the needs of a growing pediatric community. The Division of Pediatric Neurology serves as the primary provider of neurology services at each of our three hospital campuses, and at various neighborhood locations through the metro Atlanta area.
The team is now recruiting full-time, board-certified neurologists to serve as Assistant/Associate Professors of Pediatric neurology, to practice as Pediatric Neurohospitalists. The Neurohospitalists will support general neurology and ED consults with a focus on quality metrics, patient safety issues, managing length of stay, and reducing readmissions. This role offers diverse exposure across multiple medical and surgical specialties, and allows the Neurohospitalists to collaborate with the Neurointensivist and the Hospitalist teams.
Physicians at Emory+Children’s enjoy competitive salary, full benefits, relocation assistance, and available signing bonus. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in neurology and must demonstrate excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and training. These positions offer challenging inpatient cases including stroke volume, provide access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and allow for excellent work/life balance with flexible hours and block scheduling. Opportunities to teach residents and medical students as well as participate in clinical effectiveness research are abundant.
